The SALUS SG888ZB Universal Gateway serves as the central hub of a SALUS Smart Home system, facilitating seamless interaction among SALUS Smart Home devices and the SALUS Smart Home app. It operates as the coordinator of the Zigbee HA wireless protocol, enabling communication within the SALUS Smart Home device family, and connects securely to home Wi-Fi or Ethernet for access to the SALUS Smart Home app. Unlike other connected home systems, only the Gateway requires internet connection, streamlining setup and enabling straightforward management and expansion of the Smart Home system with additional devices as needed.
